“Women Make Films Too!” is a blog I created in order to address the underrepresentation of women filmmakers in the film industry. There are thousands of women filmmakers throughout the course of cinema history whose work has gone unnoticed, and continues to go unnoticed. The Syrian Refugee Crisis has been a globally controversial topic as a surge of newcomers are seeking asylum in developed countries, with some having a hard time settling and adjusting into their new environment.
